Common questions
Why can't you give a flat price for Mainland setup?
Mainland costs vary with office type, activity approvals, and visa count, so a flat number would be misleading. Tell us your activity and we'll give you an exact quote, not a range.
Do I need a local partner for a Mainland company?
Most activities now allow 100% foreign ownership since the 2021 reforms. A small number of strategic or regulated activities still require a local partner, we'll confirm which applies to you.
Can a Free Zone company trade in the UAE mainland?
Not directly. A Free Zone company can sell internationally and within its own zone, but it needs a local distributor or a dual license to deal with mainland customers. A dual license lets a Free Zone company legally operate on the Mainland without setting up a second company, introduced in 2025 under Executive Council Resolution No. 11. We handle the full application if that's the route you need.
Can an Offshore company get visas for me or my staff?
No. Offshore companies don't carry visa eligibility. If you need to live or work in the UAE, you'll need a Mainland or Free Zone company instead.
